Recientemente el famoso cantante Bruce Springsteen, “El Jefe”, lanzó el Tracks II: The Lost Albums, 83 temas en total, 74 de ellos completamente nuevos.

Entre los temas destaca uno donde la leyenda del rock le rinde homenaje a Ciudad Juárez con una canción de su nuevo álbum.

El cantante de Nueva Jersey, famoso por cantar sobre haber nacido en Estados Unidos, adopta un tono más triste al contar la historia de “la ciudad de la muerte”.

Las drogas, las maquiladoras, las colonias, las balas, la sangre y las hijas perdidas llenan la letra de Ciudad Juárez. “Las drogas fluyen hacia el norte a través del río, las armas fluyen hacia el sur / La sangre fluye aquí desde la boca del diablo”, canta Springsteen en la segunda estrofa.
